The last day in the life of Antonio, writer of 80 years of age who is awaiting a visit from his son on his farm in northern Patagonia.
This is the plot of the latest movie from Argentinean Carlos Sorin, “La ventana” (The Window).
The story told is based on two books: “Three yellow roses” by Raymond Carver, and “Mother and Child” by Alexander Sokurov.
The Uruguayan actor Antonio Larreta is the role of the protagonist in “La ventana”, which in 2008 won the Fipresci prize at the Festival of Valladolid, Spain.
