PLOT:

When we meet Bob Funk, he isn’t much of a role model for the upwardly mobile Generation X or anyone for that matter For starters, he is laudably outspoken, crass and seemingly reprehensible. With serious ex-wife and family issues, he has no idea how to be sober and human in his own skin. As a result, Bob has become acerbic yet irreverently charming with just about everybody he runs into.

To get through the day, Bob drinks exorbitantly, lives one “one night stand” to the next, slacks through work, disobeys orders and is barely tolerated by those who know him. And he just doesn’t give a damn.

Bob’s life takes a turn however when an attractive young executive (Rachael Leigh Cook) joins the family company run by his mother, and becomes the object of his affection. Can the lovely Miss Thorne see past this cad to true love?

PLOT:

In his first job with Walt Disney Pictures, the actor Adam Sandler is the protagonist's family comedy "An Account Of What It Happens," a modern fairy tale about hope and desire, directed by Adam Shankman ( "Hairspray - In Search of Fame "). Although not a typical Christmas movie, the launch in the United States was on Christmas Day. Sandler continues in the role of chance, but this time is less angry than in previous figures. In the film, his father had a motel in Hollywood, but is obliged to sell it to a hotel that is terrified of germs. Now the child has to work as a "factotum" in the luxury hotel built on the site where the motel was the father. When his sister, interpreted by actress Courtney Cox (Monica from the series "Friends"), loses his job as director of school, is to divide the job between the interviews and a nozzle as nanny of the children of a friend, a task for which recruit his brother to help her. The character of Sandler does not take the slightest way with children - your only ability is to change the stories to sleep. Once the children begin to contribute to and edit their stories (rather happy endings). Then, strangely, part of the stories start to happen in real life and Sandler tries to understand why this happens.
